About Maya
I am a native Serbian speaker, and I am a near-native English speaker. I attended college in the United States and have years of teaching experience with people of various ages.
Every class begins with a bit of revision of what we’ve done previously, and then we dive into new topics together.
I make all of my own exercises and homework and don’t use any AI tools.
Often, I focus on the topics that the student is interested in because I think that we learn easier when we’re passionate about something.

I like to include a bit about Serbian culture, food, and history when teaching.
I also frequently use Serbian movies, music, and art as learning tools.
