About Noelia

I teach Spanish because I genuinely enjoy sharing my language and my culture, and helping students feel confident communicating in a new language.

I am also a photographer, with a strong interest in cinema, music, art, and history, which often inspires my lessons and allows me to make them more engaging and culturally rich. I adapt each class to the student’s level, interests, and goals, creating a relaxed but well-structured learning environment.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centred and highly personalised.

I adapt each class to the student’s interests and learning style, because I believe people learn better when they are engaged and enjoying the process. For example, if a student likes music, I may use songs to work on vocabulary and listening skills; if they enjoy games or storytelling, I incorporate interactive activities and practical exercises.

I focus on real communication, helping students feel confident speaking Spanish in everyday situations, while also building a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary. I also like to include Spanish culture in my lessons — traditions, expressions, and cultural context — to make the language feel alive and meaningful, not just theoretical.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although this can be adapted depending on the student’s needs and goals.

I am a Communication Journalism graduate and have been teaching Spanish as a tutor in New Zealand for the past four years. During this time, I have worked with students of all levels, from complete beginners to intermediate learners, and with all ages.

My lessons are ideal for anyone who wants to learn Spanish in a dynamic, supportive, and personalised way, whether for travel, work, or personal interest.
