About Iratxe
I am a Primary Education graduate with a specialisation in English and a strong interest in languages and language teaching. I have experience working with children and teenagers through private lessons, school placements and educational activities. I have taught English and other subjects, and I am used to adapting my lessons to different ages, levels and learning needs.
I will also be working in a school in London as a Spanish Language Assistant, helping teenage students develop their Spanish speaking skills and prepare for their A-level exams.
I am a friendly, social and open-minded person who really enjoys meeting new people and helping others learn languages. I love languages and I am also looking forward to improving my own English and experiencing everyday British culture. I think learning a language is not only about grammar and exercises, but also about communicating, making mistakes, gaining confidence and enjoying the process.

First, I like to get to know each student, their level and what they want to achieve. I believe that speaking and practising with another person is one of the best ways to learn a language, so my lessons focus mainly on conversation and speaking practice.
However, every student is different, so I adapt my lessons to their needs and goals. I can also help with grammar, vocabulary, homework and exercises, always explaining things in a simple and clear way. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students can practise Spanish, gain confidence and enjoy learning the language.
