About Mariajose
My name is Mariajose, and I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia with a strong passion for languages and cultural exchange. I am dedicated to helping students improve their Spanish in a supportive and encouraging environment.

My name is Mariajose, and I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. My goal as a tutor is to help students learn Spanish in a practical, comfortable, and engaging way. I focus on building confidence through conversation while also improving grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural understanding.
My teaching method is personalized according to each student's goals and level. I use interactive activities, real-life conversations, examples from everyday situations, and exercises that help students apply Spanish naturally instead of only memorizing rules. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and connected to real communication.
A typical lesson begins with a short conversation to practice speaking and identify areas for improvement. Then, we focus on a specific topic such as vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or cultural expressions, followed by practical activities and exercises. Each class is adapted to the student's needs and learning pace.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my native knowledge of Spanish, my understanding of Latin American culture, and my ability to create personalized lessons that make students feel comfortable while learning. My lessons are designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students who want to improve their Spanish for school, travel, work, or personal growth.
