About Oscar
I am a native Speaker from Panama who can speak English and Spanish fluently, and I've studied for a long time how people can truly learn a language in the most efficient and effective way possible.
I've been tutoring Spanish for high schoolers for over 2 years now, and I am currently learning French. Since I'm also a language student, I am constantly learning different ways and techniques to learn better, I intend to share my learning experiences with my students so that they too can learn more efficiently and effectively

The only way to truly learn a language is by making mistakes, which is why I make my classes a comfortable place to converse in Spanish and make mistakes along the way.
A typical lesson will be around an hour long, with around 90% being hands on learning through speaking, listening, and having conversation while the other 10% will be more focused on Spanish theory and grammar.
Many Spanish teachers and classes focus too much on the grammar and how the Spanish language works. Although that is important, what is the point of learning verb conjugations if you never practice conversation.
That is why my class is a comfortable space to make mistakes and have a conversation with a native Spanish speaker to learn, remember, and be able to have a fluid conversation on different topics and sounding like a true native.
Although my class caters more towards beginners in middle school and high school, my class is open to everyone. I specialize in teaching fundamental Spanish to high schoolers who are learning for school, hoping to boost Spanish grades, or just learning for fun.
