About Eduardo

Beyond teaching, I'm a lifelong learner with a passion for the arts, languages, and literature. I studied visual arts in both Cuba and Chicago and continue to work as a visual artist. I enjoy reading history, biographies, and fiction in both Spanish and English, and I believe curiosity is one of the greatest gifts we can encourage in children.

At the moment, I'm writing two books—a biography of the renowned Cuban painter Wifredo Lam in English and a young adult novel in Spanish. I also enjoy learning new languages and am currently beginning my studies in French and Yoruba.

Whether I'm creating art, reading, writing, or exploring a new language, I'm always learning something new. I bring that same enthusiasm, creativity, and curiosity into every lesson, helping students discover that learning can be both meaningful and enjoyable.

About the lesson

Every child learns differently, so I personalize each lesson to match their learning style, strengths, and goals. Whether your child needs homework help, wants to strengthen academic skills, or is learning in a bilingual environment, I'm committed to making learning enjoyable and effective.

I also offer Spanish language instruction for children and adults. Whether you're learning Spanish for school, work, travel, or personal enrichment, I can help you improve your vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and conversational skills through interactive, practical lessons.

Parents value my patience, encouragement, and ability to explain concepts in ways that make learning easier and more enjoyable. My goal is to help every student gain confidence, achieve academic success, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
