About Alicia
¡Hola! I’m Alicia, a native Spanish teacher from Spain who believes learning a language should feel natural and enjoyable, not stressful. My lessons are relaxed, engaging, and completely personalized to your goals, whether you want to improve your conversation skills, grammar, or pronunciation. I use a communicative approach that focuses on real interaction and cultural context. Each class includes a quick review, fun practice activities, and meaningful conversation to help you speak Spanish with ease and confidence. As a Spanish tutor, I believe that learning a language should feel natural, personal, and enjoyable. My approach centers on building real communication skills through meaningful, low pressure practice. I design each lesson around the student’s goals, learning style, and pace (whether that’s improving conversation, mastering grammar, or developing writing and comprehension).
A typical lesson with me begins with a short warm-up activity to review previous material and boost confidence. Then we explore a new topic through guided practice, conversation, or cultural content, such as songs, short readings, or real-life dialogues. I always include opportunities for students to speak, reflect, and apply what they’ve learned in context.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my calm, supportive teaching style and my focus on helping students feel comfortable using Spanish, not just memorizing it. I bring authenticity from my background in Spain and tailor every session so students feel seen, capable, and motivated.
