About Mar
As a certified Primary and Special Education teacher from Spain, my teaching style is interactive, structured and tailored to each learner’s needs, interests and learning style. Teaching method & techniques: I believe that language learning should be practical and enjoyable. I use a variety of visual supports, real-life scenarios, games, stories, music and conversation-based activities to keep lessons dynamic and meaningful. I also incorporate multisensory strategies, especially effective for young learners and students with learning differences like ADHD, dyslexia or autism. Typical lesson plan: Each lesson includes: • A warm-up or recap of previous material • Introduction of new vocabulary or grammar through visuals or context • Interactive practice through conversation, games or short tasks • A short cultural or creative activity (song, image, story…) • A quick review and take-home challenge (optional) All lessons are personalized based on age, level, goals and pace of the student(s). What sets me apart: • I bring the energy, creativity and patience of a trained classroom teacher • I’m experienced in inclusive education, so I adapt easily to any student • I make learners feel confident and capable, even if they’ve struggled before • I use clear visual resources and positive reinforcement at every step • And… I’m a native Spanish speaker who truly loves teaching and connecting Who my lessons are for: • Children (age 5+) • Teenagers (middle & high school) • Adults • Families looking for academic support, conversation practice, or bilingual exposure • Students with learning differences or special needs

As a certified Primary and Special Education teacher from Spain, I use an adaptive, student-centered approach focused on making Spanish learning practical, fun, and accessible. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to each learner’s pace, interests, and needs.
Teaching methods and techniques: I combine visual aids, real-life scenarios, interactive games, storytelling, and conversation practice. For students with special needs or learning differences, I incorporate multisensory techniques and extra patience to ensure understanding and confidence.
Typical lesson plan: Each session includes a warm-up or review, introduction of new vocabulary or grammar with visuals, interactive exercises or dialogues, cultural elements like songs or stories, and a short review with optional take-home tasks.
What sets me apart: My background in special education allows me to adapt lessons for learners with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, or other challenges. I am patient, creative, and deeply committed to building confidence while making learning enjoyable. I am also a native Spanish speaker who understands the importance of cultural context.
Who the lessons are for: I teach children (5+), teens, and adults—beginners to intermediate. I work well with students seeking academic support, conversational practice, or exposure to bilingual environments, including those with special educational needs.
