About Rubi

I’m a native English speaker from New York with a passion for helping people communicate confidently in English. Over the years, I’ve taught students from around the world, tailoring my approach to fit each learner’s goals—whether that’s improving conversational fluency, preparing for work opportunities, or mastering English for travel and daily life. My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and highly interactive, making lessons both effective and enjoyable. Outside of teaching, I love exploring cultures, connecting with people from all walks of life, and bringing real-world experiences into the classroom to make learning meaningful.

About the lesson

I focus on creating an engaging, student-centered learning environment. My lessons combine conversational practice, pronunciation coaching, vocabulary building, and grammar in context. I use real-life scenarios, role-plays, and authentic materials to make learning practical and memorable. I also adapt lessons to each student’s pace, learning style, and goals, ensuring steady progress and confidence in speaking.
