About Catherine

I have been an online ESL teacher for over 3 years now, experienced in teaching all age groups & many students from many different countries. I am a native English speaker and I am also fluent in Romanian. I also have done volunteer educational work in Romania and I lived in Romania in 2018 and 2019 where I did some work with the Roma community and learned some of the Roma language.

About the lesson

I make my lessons as student orientated as possible. What I have learnt in my teaching experience so far (I have taught over 990 students to date over 3,840 classes) is that every student is different, therefore the way they learn will be different too. The student needs to feel at ease and not daunted or frightened by the task ahead of him or her. I try to make all my students feel appreciated instead of intimidated and also encourage them to think for themselves and learn autonomously.
