About Joseph
I am a computing student with a strong interest in mentorship, problem-solving, and continuous learning. I enjoy breaking down difficult ideas into simple, practical explanations that students can understand and apply with confidence.
I want to teach because I believe learning becomes much easier when students feel comfortable asking questions and working at their own pace. My approach is patient, structured, and supportive, with a strong focus on understanding concepts rather than simply memorizing answers. I take preparation and professionalism seriously, and my goal is to help every student make steady, measurable progress while developing confidence in their own abilities.

About the lesson

I prefer to first assess the level of writing, reading, speaking, and listening of my student(s), and develop a teaching plan based on that. For new speakers (A1 and A2 CEFR levels), I like starting with background and language formation: How the language came to be, how it evolved, and what influenced it to be where it is. Then build up from there.
For intermediary speakers, I prefer working on specific sentence structures, sentimentality/tone, and vocabulary. The length of a lesson will be 40min to an hour.
I work with all age learners, and depending on your language needs, I am here to guide you through understanding one of the most beautiful languages in the world, borne from the East African region.
