I am Becky, a native Swahili and Tugen speaker from Baringo, now living in Nakuru, Kenya. I grew up speaking Swahili at school and at home, and I love sharing our beautiful language and culture.

I am friendly, patient, and passionate about teaching. I have experience helping beginners, children abroad, and travelers learn Swahili quickly and confidently.

I love reading, storytelling, and learning about different cultures. I want to teach because I believe language connects people — when you speak Swahili, you connect with 100 million people in East Africa.

About the lesson

Jambo! I teach Swahili for beginners, travelers, diaspora children, and anyone who loves Kenyan culture. My lessons are simple, fun, and conversational — we start speaking from the first class.

We learn greetings, introductions, daily conversation, market Swahili, travel phrases, grammar made easy, and cultural tips. I use stories, songs, and real-life examples from Nakuru.

Every lesson is personalized to your level and goal — whether you want to visit Kenya, talk to family, or work here. I provide notes after each class, homework if you want, and lots of practice. Online via video call, flexible
