About John
I am a dedicated medical student with a passion for languages and communication. Being a native Swahili speaker, I have always enjoyed helping friends and colleagues navigate the nuances of the language, which inspired me to start tutoring formally.
My academic journey in medicine has taught me the importance of clear, precise communication—especially in technical and professional settings. I want to teach because I find it incredibly rewarding to watch a student gain the confidence to express themselves in a new language.
I am patient, organized, and committed to helping my students bridge the gap between basic phrases and meaningful conversation. Beyond just the words, I love sharing the cultural context that makes Swahili such a vibrant and essential language for anyone living or working in East Africa.
