About Ryan
I am a friendly and patient Swahili tutor from Nakuru, Kenya. Swahili is my mother tongue and I speak it every day with my family and friends.
I love teaching and meeting new people from different countries. I am passionate about sharing Kenyan culture and language. My dream is to help foreigners feel at home in East Africa by speaking Swahili.
I am very reliable, always on time, and I make my lessons enjoyable. I am not a boring teacher. We laugh, we practice, we speak a lot.
I am available in the evenings and weekends Kenya time, which is perfect for students from USA and Europe. I am comfortable teaching kids and adults.

Jambo! I am a native Swahili speaker from Nakuru, Kenya. I teach conversational Swahili for beginners, travellers, expats and people working in East Africa.
My lessons are very practical and fun. We focus on speaking from day one, not just grammar. You will learn how to greet, shop at the market, take a matatu, and talk with locals like a real Kenyan.
I offer personalized lessons on Video, Google Meet or Zoom. I also send you notes, audio practice, and homework after each lesson.
I have helped many foreigners from USA, Germany and UK speak Swahili confidently.
