About Maryciana
Hello! I'm Maryciana, a native Swahili speaker born and raised in Tanzania. I live in beautiful Mwanza
I am passionate about teaching my language and culture to people from around the world. I have been helping friends, tourists, and expats learn real, everyday Swahili that they can use immediately.
I love teaching because I love seeing my students smile when they can finally order food, greet someone, or have a full conversation in Swahili! It's a beautiful language and very easy to learn with the right teacher.
I am patient, friendly, and I will make you feel comfortable even if you have never spoken a word of Swahili before. My goal is to make you confident.
Outside teaching, I love Tanzanian culture, music, cooking, and meeting new people.

I make learning Swahili easy, fun and practical. Whether you are a complete beginner, traveling to Tanzania, working, or you want to talk with Tanzanian friends and family, I will help you speak confidently.
My lessons are 100% conversational, focused on real-life Swahili, pronunciation, useful phrases, and culture. No boring grammar!
