About Navlika

Hi, I’m Navlika, an MSc in Computing @Imperial student passionate about AI. I love helping others learn and making complex topics easy to understand—tutoring has been a hobby of mine, and I’ve enjoyed guiding my younger sister and peers through programming, maths, and AI concepts. I hold a BTech in AI & Data Science from IIT Jodhpur and have experience in computer vision, NLP, vision-language models, and generative AI through research projects. My approach to tutoring is interactive and tailored to each student, combining clear explanations, practical examples, and problem-solving exercises to make learning engaging and effective.

About the lesson

Approach to Tutoring: I believe learning is most effective when it’s interactive, engaging, and tailored to the student’s pace. My teaching methodology combines clear explanations, practical examples, and problem-solving exercises to help students grasp concepts deeply rather than just memorising them. I like to encourage questions, foster curiosity, and provide step-by-step guidance, making complex topics easier to understand. Techniques and Methodology: Breaking down difficult concepts into manageable, relatable parts. Using visual aids, coding examples, and real-world applications. Assigning small exercises and mini-projects to reinforce learning. Adapting the lesson style based on the student’s understanding and goals. Typical Lesson Length: Lessons usually range from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the topic and the student’s needs. Qualifications and Experience: I hold a BTech in AI & Data Science from IIT Jodhpur and am currently pursuing an MSc in Computing (AI & ML) at Imperial College London. I have hands-on experience in AI, computer vision, NLP, and generative AI through research and work experience. Tutoring has been a long-time hobby—I’ve guided my younger sister and peers through programming, maths, and AI concepts, making learning enjoyable and effective. Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are suitable for school students, undergraduate students, or anyone starting with programming, maths, or AI/ML concepts.
