About Jon
I am a 2x Canberra Gunner (NBL1) that has been playing and teaching basketball at an elite level for almost 2 decades. I have a bachelor's degree in both Coaching Science and Nutrition and I love basketball.
A 2x Premier League MVP with numerous scoring titles and over a dozen Premier League championships. Having been coached by some of the NBL greats such as Jerry Lee, Tony Plunkett, Ian Ellis, Brad Barnes and many more, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.
Currently head coach for the Premier 1 division (Canberra's best league) Queanbeyan men's team, while myself still playing Premier division 2 at the ripe age of 43.
Every player is unique, and there is no one-fits-all approach. My job is to determine what your goals are, identify strengths and weaknesses, and then give you the tools to develop your game.
Catering to all ages whether you're new to the sport and are looking to refine the basics, or more advanced looking to add more to your bag I can help you.

Playing at the highest level Canberra has to offer for more than 20 years, and being taught by some of the NBL greats, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table that could really help take your game to another level.
Teaching is catered to tailor the individual. Whether shooting, dribbling, passing, footwork, fitness, defense, or game IQ we can start developing you into a complete player.
In addition to my playing experience and club coaching experience, I have a double degree in Coaching/Exercise Science & Nutrition, and 4 years of representative coaching experience with the U16 boys, competing in 2 national championships.
I cater to boys and girls of all ages and levels. Typical length of sessions range between 45-90min.
I hold both WWVP (ACT) & WWC(NSW) card.
