About Benjamin

I am a 2nd year MBChB medical student at the University of Auckland, looking to offer up and coming students the very guidance and assistance to achieve their academic goals no matter the level, whether that may be A/M/E or simply doing the best they can do. As an aspiring health professional, I have always taken pride in doing my part to help others and offer what I can, if I can. I think of tutoring as a different way of giving back to that on the medical front, but ultimately the morals and principles run the same. I have 4 years of tutoring experience, teaching students from Year 9 to 13 and First Year University. I am Excellence Endorsed in NCEA Levels 1, 2 and 3, with 7 NZQA Scholarship passes in 2024 and a 9.0 GPA in First Year Biomedical Science at the University of Auckland. These include a 25/32 score in Scholarship Chemistry and a 9.0 grade in CHEM110.

About the lesson

With exam season looming, now can be a really good time to identify what your next steps will be, in order to achieve your goals. If you find that you're still learning, and not yet revising. Or if some things just aren't making sense. Or if you simply need some coaching and accountability to grab those last few marks, it's never too late to reach out for help.

Lessons will be tailored to suit your learning style and goals, utilising multiple forms of learning to solidify concrete understanding that can be exercised with practice.

Sessions will generally run for 1-1.5 hours but are very flexible. I understand that as exams approach, things can become very busy and so I offer full flexibility from week to week.
