About Koen
My name is Koen Idema and I am an International Baccalaureate student at United World College in Mostar. I have C2 level certificates in the languages English and German and I enjoy helping others improve their language skills. Because of my experience as a guest teacher at foreign schools, I can easily switch between the needs and levels of students. I would be happy to help you improve your language skills during one of my tutoring lessons!

I would be happy to help you improve your German skills. I target secondary school students, and I can help expand your vocabulary and provide insight into grammar. I am happy to offer this in practice, by providing context for each component in the form of relevant literature, current topics, etc. Since I know from experience that you quickly improve your language skills by speaking a lot in the target language, in the tutoring, adapted to the level, much spoken and written in the target language. In this way, all four language domains are addressed: reading, listening, writing and speaking. I am happy to put together a lesson program that is tailored to your needs.
I have the Goethe-Zertifikat C2: Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom at near-native language level. This allows me to offer my tutoring at a high level. In addition, I have a year of experience in giving guest lessons in English at foreign primary and secondary schools, which means I can respond to the needs and level of the student.
Lessons last one hour and can be tailored to the needs of the student in number and content. For this, the first lesson is designed as an introduction.
