About Cadence
I love learning and reading! I am so passionate about developing a love of reading and writing in all people, especially children! Literacy is the building block of understanding ideas, developing compassion, and intelligently expressing oneself.
I have attended a classical charter school from third grade to senior year where I learned the importance of a love of reading, critical thinking, and moral philosophy. In my senior year I wrote my thesis on the relationship between God, Personality, and the Good Life.
I graduated high school with straight As, honors, and an AA in Communications.
I am now working towards a bachelor's degree in Business Management at New Mexico State University. I still love reading, writing, and teaching.
I have 2 years experience tutoring basic reading and phonics (I also have grown up helping and teaching my three younger siblings with reading and writing)
I would love to be the one to help your child learn the alphabet, read a book, or write an essay!

I adore working with young kids and watching them learn to understand the world through reading!
I have 2 years experience tutoring K-2 reading and writing. I break down words and sentences in order to understand the structure of a word or sentence before then working to understand the meaning.
I am extremely strong in grammar and reading overall and am open to tutoring English basics for K-middle school.
I also love writing and proofreading essays! If you have a middle or high schooler who struggles to build ideas, structure paragraphs, or keep up with grammar in essay writing, I can help!
I have an AA in Communications studies and I’m currently a business management student at NMSU.
I am open to virtual or in person sessions. $12-17 depending on subject.
