About Marsha

Graduating with an MMus in Piano from USC Thornton School of Music in 2019 provided the technical foundation for my career. 13 years of teaching has refined my ability to guide high schoolers toward Juilliard Pre-College, Interlochen, and Curtis. I specialize in classical repertoire, accompaniment skills, chord voicing, and proper posture.

My work centers on teaching hand position, sight reading, rhythm, timing, dynamics, and expression. Helping students discover their own musical voice remains my primary focus.

About the lesson

Musical growth happens when we start with a diagnostic playing assessment before we set a learning plan. Because I have spent 13 years teaching, I understand that the process requires patience and a methodical approach.

We examine your current technique to identify what is working and where we need to adjust your mechanics. I prioritize the balance between technical precision and artistic expression in every minute we spend together.

You will find that I emphasize the small details that make a significant impact on your performance quality during auditions. This creates a clear path for progress throughout our time together. Please reach out whenever you are ready to begin the work.
