Hi, I’m Pinar! I’m a student at the University of Toronto pursuing a double degree in psychology and public health, with a focus on English and a passion for clear communication. I love reading in my free time, and English has always been my favorite subject throughout school. Each English lesson is built around clarity, confidence, and practical skill-building. Lessons are customized to the student's level, whether they're in middle school, high school, or beginning university. Focus areas can include reading comprehension, grammar, essay writing, paragraph structure, or support with class assignments. A typical session begins with a quick review of what the student is currently working on or struggling with. From there, the lesson moves into a focused skill or concept—for example, organizing ideas for an essay, fixing common grammar issues, or analyzing a piece of text. Lessons include guided practice, real examples, and time to apply new skills through exercises or assignment work. Every session ends with a short recap and next steps to keep learning consistent and manageable. The lessons are paced according to the student’s comfort level. Techniques like outlining, annotation, rewriting, and breaking down questions are used to help students feel in control of their work. Whether it’s preparing for a test, improving written expression, or understanding how to answer questions effectively, lessons are designed to be supportive, encouraging, and results-focused. This approach works well for students who want clear structure, steady progress, and a non-judgmental space to ask questions and build confidence in English.
