About Luc
I studied mathematics at the Royal Military College of Canada and spent a year as a professors assistant while studying. While there I lead both group and individual tutoring sessions. After leaving the military I tutored Mathematics at the high school and university level for 5 years.
I am also working as a data programmer team lead professionally at a printing company and mail house in Ottawa.

I predominantly use the Socratic method, where I ask probing questions to both establish a baseline of where a students understanding is, but also to aid in the students ability to work out how to solve a problem. When a student cannot answer a question I try using analogies based on the students interests to aid in their comprehension of the subject matter.
