About Leema
My name is Leema. I am a mother of two and have been teaching since the age of 18. I have dedicated my life to teaching and find it deeply rewarding. My students range from 5-year-olds to retired individuals, including foreigners, Nepalis, and first- or second-generation Nepalis living abroad. I specialize in teaching basic and intermediate Nepali, with a focus on building a strong foundation in speaking, reading, and writing. I believe any subject can be interesting when taught with enthusiasm, care, and a fun approach.

I understand that Nepali is not an easy language. So, over the years, I have developed techniques that make learning fun and interesting. My methods include play-way learning through games that help you familiarize yourself with the language and improve memory. Songs, which in my experience are one of the best ways to memorize vocabulary. TPR (Total Physical Response) – action-based learning that helps you connect with the language not only intellectually, but physically as well. In addition, I use a collection of interactive games and Quizlets to support and enhance your learning.
