About Valerie
Tracing the ghost of ivory keys against my fingertips reminds me of the rigid discipline I absorbed during my 13 years of study under a Curtis Institute alum. My MMus and MSM degrees provide the bedrock for teaching rhythm, timing, and pedaling, yet I find true clarity in supporting students with ADHD, autism, or dyslexia. Hand independence, jazz improvisation, sight transposition, and accompaniment skills become accessible through adaptive notation.
