About Neeya
Hello! I am a Neuroscience and Biology major at Syracuse University. My long-term career goal is to become a pediatric neurosurgeon. I love children! I have over five years of experience in the child care industry–which includes 12-hour nannying work days, comprised of teaching lessons as well. I worked in the tutoring center at my high school, where I would teach up to five students at once regarding a specific topic and now that I'm in college, I tutor my peers through our Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS). I am passionate about aiding others and I am highly motivated to help make a difference :)

I usually teach younger kids–anywhere between 5 years of age to middle schoolers and freshman in high school. Seeing as I have a good educational background myself, I am willing to teach older students as well! As an instructor, it is my main goal to make sure my student understands what is being taught. I always encourage my students to ask a lot of questions and I tend to go over example problems and walk my students through the process which helps solidify their understanding of the material.
