About Gohar
As an educator with over a decade of experience, I bring a unique perspective to tutoring that goes beyond textbooks and tests. I vividly recall my own days as a student, questioning the relevance of certain subjects to "real life." While it's true that I've never had to dissect a frog on demand outside of a classroom, I've come to realize that education's true value lies in the intangible skills it cultivates.
Critical thinking, determination, and resilience—these are the cornerstones of success I've relied upon throughout my journey. They've empowered me to tackle seemingly insurmountable challenges and achieve my aspirations. This realization fuels my teaching philosophy: education is not merely about grades, but about acquiring knowledge—an invaluable asset that can never be taken away.
In my roles as a therapist and teaching assistant in graduate school, I've had the privilege of guiding numerous students. My approach focuses on igniting passion and enriching minds, believing firmly that when students are truly engaged, academic success naturally follows. I don't just teach subjects; I inspire a love for learning that extends far beyond the classroom.
