About Daire
My academic journey has been driven by a deep enthusiasm for learning and is accompanied by a desire to empower others on their academic journey. With a First Class undergraduate degree in Psychology and Philosophy, an MSc in Neuroscience with Distinction, and recently commencing PhD study, I have acquired a strong knowledge in various disciplines which I look forward to sharing with fellow students. Throughout my studies, from school to finishing my Masters, I have been grateful for the help and guidance I have received from mentors, teachers, and tutors, who helped me to succeed and achieve my goals. Now, I am excited to pay it forward and be a supportive figure for other students. My goal is to assist students in achieving their academic goals and foster a positive learning environment. In our tutoring sessions, I will draw upon my PhD studies, my MSc in Neuroscience and my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Philosophy to provide comprehensive, engaging, and flexible lessons! With a typical duration of 60 minutes, the lesson can include visual and/or verbal presentations walking through the relevant topics with plenty of room for discussion, questions and, depending on the level, practice questions to look at together.
I'm happy to cater to learners of all levels, including GCSE and below to A-level and university, and am more than willing to assist with specific homework assignments or exam practice.
