About Eliza
Hi, I’m Eliza! I studied Film and Media at Newcastle University in England, and I have a deep passion for travel, music, and connecting with people from different cultures. English has always been one of my favourite subjects—I studied it to the highest level in school and frequently participated in creative writing competitions. I understand the challenges of learning a new language, having studied languages myself, and I know how repetitive traditional exercises can feel. That’s why my focus is on real conversations that help you build confidence and fluency in a natural way. In my lessons, we’ll have relaxed, engaging discussions about topics that interest you. This will give you the opportunity to practise English in a practical, real-life setting—helping you improve your speaking skills while enjoying the process. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting your language journey!

Hello! I'm Eliza, originally from England. I live in the south but studied up north at university. I am looking for advanced students who would like to keep up and improve their skills through conversation. While I don’t have formal teaching qualifications, I’m fully committed to supporting you on your journey to mastering English and helping you achieve your personal best. I believe that real-world conversation is one of the best ways to learn a language. My approach is relaxed and conversational, focusing on helping students feel comfortable speaking English in everyday situations. Rather than just focusing on textbook grammar, I aim to create natural, engaging dialogues that allow you to practise listening, speaking, and expanding your vocabulary in real contexts. I believe learning should feel enjoyable, not stressful, and my goal is to help you build confidence and fluency in English, whether you’re chatting about daily life, travelling, or just exploring new topics. Together, we'll make learning English fun and relaxed! I’m here to support your journey, boost your confidence, and help you express yourself naturally.
