Hello, I’m Arshi!
My approach to tutoring is built on the belief that confidence is the foundation of good communication. I don't just teach rules; I help you find your own voice in English.
My Teaching Methodology:
My classes are highly student-centered and practical. I use a "learn by doing" approach where we analyze real-world texts, practice active reading strategies, and break down the structure of essays and creative writing step-by-step. For test prep, we focus on time management and understanding the "why" behind the correct answers. For CVs, we work on making your experience shine with powerful action verbs and clear formatting. I tailor every session to your specific goals, ensuring you are actively engaged rather than just passively listening.
Lesson Structure:
A typical lesson lasts for 1 hour. I find this is the perfect amount of time to cover new material, practice, and review homework without overwhelming the student. For younger learners or those needing intensive prep, I also offer 45-minute and 90-minute sessions.
My Qualifications:
My expertise comes from years of practical experience and a genuine passion for the language. I have helped numerous students successfully pass exams, polish their CVs for job applications, and write compelling essays for university. I understand the English language from a user's perspective, which allows me to explain complex concepts in simple, relatable terms.
