About Swarupa
I'm Swarupa Chatterjee, an NIFT graduate cofounder of Sevenleaves, where all products handpaints and hand dyes all of her products. I enjoy working with textiles and incorporating art into them. Because my painting approach is abstract, putting it into a textile makes it more appealing to me. I'm always looking for new methods to work with different patterns and create diverse textures.
I'd want to teach these techniques as well as how to incorporate art into textile and apparel design.

Proper demonstration of how we may merge art into textiles, as well as the methods and processes involved. Also, brief discussion on art and aesthetics, design ideas, textile experiments, and so on. There will be a comparison of fashion, art, and textile. Guidance for NIFT admission also provided.
