About Celeste
I am Celeste and I graduated from UCT in 1998 with a Performer’s Diploma in Orchestral Studies (Double Bass).
I have been teaching kids and adults piano and music theory since then and I am also a Co-Founder of The Musicat School of Music.
I have seen many pupils through various exams with excellent results. Exams aren’t compulsory but if you feel you a need an extra goal to work towards we can do it!
I have a relaxed but "let’s get things done!" teaching style and always adapts to each pupil’s way of learning!

Who?
Scholars from 7 and up and anyone (including Stay-At-Home Moms, Momtrepeneurs or Retired Persons etc!) who needs tutoring in or revision of the topics below!
What?
Any one or combination of the following :
• Basic/Beginner Music Theory
• Music theory lessons, tutorials and revision for the following : Trinity, ABRSM (Royal Schools of Music), Unisa or any other music theory method books
• Tuition or revision of the school CAPS music curriculum
• General Music Knowledge : history (eras of music, composers), instruments, genres styles, form, repertoire)
Using methods and tools, old, new and unique, to tailor lessons to your needs and preferences!
