About Seb
I'm Seb, a guitarist, teacher, and singer based in Warrington. I've been playing guitar since the age of seven, and along with LCM Grade 8, also achieved a degree in Music from the University of Nottingham. Since 2015 I've been part of my function band, Michigan, playing in venues up and down the country.
I have a passion for teaching, and love the moment when it all clicks for students, and they start to really take off. Learning to play the guitar was the best choice I made, and inspired me to be confident and creative in my everyday life, and I hope it does the same for you!

I have extensive experience teaching guitar in loads of different settings; primary schools, high schools, colleges, private tuition for children and adults of all ages, private music schools, even a hospital. I've also played live music as part of a function band, and as a solo act, since the age of about fifteen.
Lessons are 45 minutes and available for any ability, from the age of 7 upwards.
I'm a firm believer in a collaborative approach to lessons. As much as I have the knowledge, I want the lessons to be led, as much as possible, by what the student wants to achieve. There's no use me coming to you with AC/DC if you're a fan of Taylor Swift! I'm always happy to work through songs that you want to learn, and I'm able to use Guitar Pro software to write out clear and concise music, if there is none available online!
I have experience of Trinity, Rockschool, and ABRSM exams, so if Grade exams are something you wish to pursue, then I can help there as well.
