About Nyoka
I'm a Registered Nurse with an MSN in Nursing Education and over 20 years of clinical experience spanning ICU step-down, telemetry, case management, home health, and vascular access.
I've also served as an AHA Training Center Coordinator, so teaching complex clinical material in a way that actually clicks isn't new to me — it's a core part of who I am as a nurse.
I know firsthand how overwhelming nursing school can feel. The volume of information, the pressure of clinicals, the anxiety of NCLEX prep — it's a lot to carry, and it's easy to feel like you're drowning in content without ever understanding the "why" behind it. That's where I come in.
My approach blends strong clinical grounding with real teaching skill. I don't just recite textbook definitions — I connect concepts to real patient scenarios so they make sense and stay with you.
Whether you're working through pharmacology, med-surg, pathophysiology, or building an NCLEX study plan, I'll meet you where you are and help you build both competence and confidence.
I tailor every session to how you learn best, and I bring the patience of someone who has trained new nurses and the perspective of someone who has actually worked the floor.
