About Gracie

Let’s be honest, sometimes teachers can be intimidating. Especially the ones who seem to have been around as long as the English language. Trust me, I’ve had my fair share of those too as a college student myself! I understand the intimidation, anxiety, and discomfort that can come with that. However, seeing as I am also still pursuing my education, I think we both have something to learn, and that is an amazing opportunity and journey in itself! Anyone who commits to furthering their education and improving upon the things they might already know is already a hard worker, dedicated student, and more than enough! That means you! My goal is to show you that you are already so capable of achieving anything, and to help you unlock those achievements at your own pace so that you can see yourself as the amazing student you are. Confidence is key, and I have a feeling that together we will be able to find it and use it to your advantage as we explore the English language and all it has to offer.

About the lesson

I finished all of my English credits for college in high school, so now I am reading many great texts and pieces of ancient literature in the Honors College for an English minor. Because of my fierce dedication to understanding the English language (which I know is sometimes hard), I also won many scholarships for college (student debt is NOT COOL)! I know it can be really hard to not understand something, and even harder lack understanding for something that seems to not add any value to our lives. But my goal is to show you how English of all kinds (stories, essays, arguments, poetry, etc.) can and does add incredible value and depth to our lives! Let’s explore the English language together to see how it can improve our lives and add to our ultimate success!
