About Sana
I’m a motivated high school student with a strong academic background who would love to help students feel more confident in math, science, and history. I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA while taking challenging AP courses, including AP U.S. History, AP European History, AP Environmental Science, AP Seminar, and AP English Language, along with advanced math and science courses such as Precalculus and Chemistry. Beyond my own coursework, I’ve developed strong communication and leadership skills through being a board member of the Health Information Project, National Honor Society, and other school and community activities. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on breaking difficult concepts down into clear, manageable steps rather than simply giving answers. My goal is to make students feel comfortable asking questions, build their confidence, and help them genuinely understand the material.

My lessons would be relaxed, interactive, and centered around what each student needs. We would start by identifying what they’re struggling with and what they want to accomplish, whether that’s preparing for a test, catching up on a difficult topic, finishing homework, or simply becoming more confident in the subject. I like to explain concepts in simple, easy-to-understand ways and then work through examples together before having the student try problems independently. I’ll encourage questions throughout the lesson and adjust my approach if something isn’t making sense. Most importantly, I want students to leave each lesson feeling like they actually understand the material—not like they just memorized it for a test.
