My lessons are especially suited to intermediate and advanced guitarists who want to move beyond memorizing shapes and start understanding how music works on the instrument. We can work on improvisation, harmony, fretboard knowledge, technique, rhythm, repertoire, ear training, composition, or developing a more personal approach to playing.
I don’t teach from a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Lessons are built around your musical goals, the music you’re excited about, and the areas that are currently holding you back. My goal is to help you connect technique and theory directly to real music so that what we work on becomes something you can actually hear and use.
I teach both acoustic and electric guitar and welcome serious students from a range of musical backgrounds. Whether you’re trying to become more confident improvising, understand jazz harmony, break out of familiar patterns, or simply feel more fluent and creative on the guitar, we’ll build a clear path toward getting there.
