About Dipesh
With two degrees from McMaster University (BSc in Life Sciences and MSc in eHealth), I bring both knowledge and experience to my tutoring. During my time at McMaster, I worked as a Teaching Assistant, where I hosted Q&A sessions to help students better understand challenging concepts. This hands-on experience taught me how to connect with students and explain complex ideas in clear, relatable ways.
I pride myself on being an approachable and patient tutor who creates a welcoming learning environment. My goal is to not only improve students’ academic skills but also build their confidence and passion for Math and Chemistry. By focusing on understanding rather than memorization, I help students achieve long-term success.

My approach is student-centered and focuses on building a strong foundation in both Chemistry and Math. I simplify complex topics by breaking them down into manageable parts and using real-world examples to connect abstract concepts with practical applications. In Math, I focus on helping students understand the logic behind formulas and processes, ensuring they can apply them effectively. I use a combination of visual aids, interactive discussions, and problem-solving exercises to actively engage students and enhance their critical thinking skills.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Review Previous Material: Start by reviewing prior concepts and answering any questions the student may have.
Concept Introduction: Present the day’s topic in a simplified manner, using visuals and examples for clarity.
In Math, this may involve breaking down a new formula or solving step-by-step equations.
In Chemistry, it might mean introducing a new concept like chemical bonding or stoichiometry.
Interactive Learning: Engage the student with problem-solving activities that relate to both Math and Chemistry, emphasizing their real-world relevance.
Practice Problems: Work through exercises in both subjects, tailoring problems to the student's current level and goals.
Summary & Homework: Recap the key takeaways and assign tailored exercises for continued practice between sessions.
