About Hanyu
I am a prospective university student for Imperial College London in September 2026. Currently I hold an offer to study Mechanical Engineering, having completed my A-Level studies at St Paul's School in London earlier this year. My lessons are flexible and I will look to match your need and requests as best as possible. In addition, I can also give general study skills advice, such as how to plan a revision timetable effectively, or how to use resources such as past papers so you learn the most from them.

Lessons are adaptable based on the student's needs, focusing on specific topics within a subject which you feel like you need the most help with. The lessons can last between 30-90 minutes based on your preference. I have mentored GCSE students in younger years during my final 2 years at school, as such I have gained valuable experience in how to effectively deliver information based on the need of each student. In addition, I studied 11 GCSEs and achieved grade 8s and 9s in all of them, as well as 4 A-levels with 4 predicted A stars (actual results tbc), therefore I am able to share advice on how to balance the time spent between each subject effectively, as well as identifying the area to focus on for each subject, in order to achieve a set of successful and well-rounded results.
Currently, I am looking to teach GCSE and A level Maths, Chemistry, Physics. A trial lesson is available should you have initial reservations, should you wish to proceed after the trial, my standard rates are £20 per hour + travel expenses.
I am based in south-west London, but I am happy to do in person tutoring across most of Greater London. However, if you are based further away, I am also happy to do online lessons via Zoom or Google Meet.
