About Hadassah

Hello! My name is Hadassah, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence and succeed in mathematics. I understand that many students find maths challenging or intimidating, but I believe that with the right support, patience, and encouragement, every student can improve and reach their potential.

I enjoy teaching because I find it rewarding to see students grow in both their understanding and confidence. There is nothing more fulfilling than watching a student go from saying, “I can’t do this,” to solving problems independently and feeling proud of their progress.

My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. I tailor each lesson to suit the individual student’s needs, ensuring they fully understand each topic before moving on.

Whether a student needs help preparing for exams, improving their grades, or simply gaining more confidence in maths, I am committed to supporting them every step of the way. I don’t just want my students to pass their exams, I want them to develop the skills, confidence, and problem-solving ability that will benefit them long after our lessons have ended.

About the lesson

My Personal Approach to Private Maths Tuition

I believe every student learns differently, so I never use a one-size-fits-all approach. My first priority is to understand how each student thinks, what they’re confident with, and where they’re finding challenges. From there, I tailor every lesson to suit their individual learning style and pace.

Rather than simply teaching students how to get the right answer, I focus on helping them understand why a method works. This builds confidence, encourages independent thinking, and makes it easier for students to apply their knowledge to unfamiliar questions.

My lessons are interactive and supportive, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions without worrying about making mistakes. I see mistakes as valuable learning opportunities and use them to strengthen understanding.

I also believe that consistent encouragement is just as important as academic progress. I celebrate improvements, however small, and help students develop the confidence to tackle challenging problems with a positive mindset.

My aim is not only to improve grades but to help students become confident, capable learners who feel more comfortable and even enjoy mathematics. Every lesson is planned with purpose, and I adapt my teaching based on the student’s progress to ensure they continue moving towards their goals.
