About Nathan
Strong rhythm and fluid chord transitions are the foundation of every great song. My 5 years of experience allow me to simplify the process of reading sheet music and tabs for any learner. We focus on mastering scales and modes or power chords depending on your specific goals.
You will also learn the practical side of tuning and maintenance to keep your instrument in top shape. I enjoy watching students discover the joy of fingerpicking for the very first time. It is truly the most satisfying part of the entire musical experience.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire provided me with a deep, analytical ear for all stringed instruments. I recall the tactile sensation of the first time I felt the vibration of a guitar string against my fingertips. Through my work with 240 students, I have honed the ability to translate complex theory into simple language for teens and hobbyists. Absolute beginners often find the initial hurdle of finger placement to be the most daunting obstacle to clear.
My approach is to demystify the fretboard while we focus on rhythm guitar and songwriting. Performance-focused students often benefit from my structured breakdown of how professional musicians approach their craft. I adapt my methods to match the speed of your personal progress.
It is a rewarding process to watch someone move from hesitant strumming to playing full songs with confidence. The path from novice to player is quite straightforward.
