About Niall
In the last few years, my daughter who is now in secondary school, has had difficulty in Math in particular and so has asked me for assistance. Since then my daughter has excelled in Math and I have really enjoyed teaching her and have found her progress very rewarding also. My grandmother, mother, and sister are, or were, all teachers by profession and I was a professional ski instructor for six years. I suppose you could say teaching is in the blood.

Prior to any lesson I will firstly review all appropriate material. Any lesson will be based on attempts made by the student to answer questions on paper, followed by me filling in any gaps in understanding and then completing the relevant question together. Doing so demonstrates gaps in understanding and clears them up also but because they are practiced, the information is more likely to be recalled. The lessons will be an hour to two hours in duration. I teach my daughter Math, but also have taught disadvantaged students for free from local schools in Dublin city while studying Engineering in Trinity College. I would be happy to teach both junior and senior cycle students in secondary school.
