About Chris
Hello! I am a native English speaker with a diploma in web site design who's worked in many different fields, and I've always been interested in language for it's own sake. For example sentence structure and composition are fascinating as there's usually many different ways to say something in English, but not all of them are grammatically correct and the choice of words used to express an idea can effect both the understanding of the reader and the flow of the sentence.

I don't give lessons so much as answer specific questions or try to help with specific issues. For example if a student is struggling with a certain idea or concept they would describe exactly what they need help with and I would assist them by explaining the rules and context pertaining to their situation. I find this is more effective than just giving a general lesson where the students specific question or situation may not even be addressed.
