About Michael
I was born in Virginia, but spent most of my life growing up in Georgia before moving to Colorado. I studied jazz and classical in school, playing in jazz ensembles, combos, and orchestras. I've also played many shows with groups outside of school settings. I've been playing music for 22 years.

I'm an experienced player and teacher that's versed in many styles of music including rock, blues, jazz, reggae, funk, classical, punk and metal. I try to cater to individual learning styles and figure out the best way to teach each of my students. I'm open to focusing on whatever you're interested in learning.
