About Emma
Having recently graduated, I wanted to start teaching as I missed the learning environment. I am extremely passionate about education and how it can be adapted to suit varying needs. Having received tutoring throughout my own education I am well placed to understand how students might feel when beginning the tutoring process. My primary aim is to help students build confidence and take control of their own education, providing them with the tools and skills to succeed in the future.

I adopt a student-centred approach to learning meaning that myself and students will take an equally active role in the tutoring process. My primary aim is to provide students with the tools and support required for them to build confidence and develop personal responsibility for their education. Students will be provided with clear lesson objectives and long term goals in order to achieve this.
I am able to teach from Primary through to A Level. Length of lessons will depend on the age of the child and individual needs.
