This is NOT an ordinary conversational English course. You will be learning from an experienced speech therapist! I will tailor your lessons to your strengths and weaknesses. But this will require hard work on your part as I work with you.
Your course work will include:
- individual speech analysis
- structured speech training customized to the your area of study/business
- building and incorporating new speech habits into the classroom/workplace
- practical verbal/social skills for successful immersion into American culture
You will learn to speak American English with ease. I will teach you how to verbally navigate through your American academic/business life: give presentations, hold meetings, handle issues at the store/bank/post office, manage matters over the phone, resolve conflicts, etc. You will learn "everyday American" vocabulary that you don't learn from school! People will understand you much better.
