About Annette

I am a professional belly dance teacher and performer with over a decades worth of experience. I would like to share my love and passion for this beautiful ancient art form and share it with the wider public to learn.

About the lesson

My classes are available as an individual course package (one on one private tutoring) or as a group class. Each class we will go through the basics of belly dancing to get a grasp on the fundamental building blocks that will eventually lead into learning combination movements to create beautifully crafted choreographies.

(Recordings of all classes are available for download and keep for further practice)

All levels are welcome on (Wednesdays 6-8pm)

We’ll explore the basic belly dance moves and drills accompanied with graceful arm and hand gestures.

A focus on progression rather than perfection will ensure you’ll learn step by step the necessary tools to improve and become a skilled belly dancer :)

Beautiful combinations and fun choreographies to a selection of entertaining and enjoyable music will leave you feeling mesmerised and wanting more every single week.

Learn ways to express yourself through the music, the earthiness, grounding and pace changes that come from different parts of the song.

Akashas’s holistic approach to bellydance will ensure you’ll progress week by week with movements that will leave you feeling energised and an increased sense of well being.

Perfect! My tutor is so good. I am very happy with her. Annette encourages me and teaches me any new movements in the lessons. Anything that I am struggling with, we breakdown the movement. The lesson goes so quickly. Annette is so amazing. Thank you so much.

Perfect! Anne is an excellent bellydancer with loverly personality while also very professional. Due to some technique problems, we couldn't use video call properly and tried to fix it which took almost half hour. She just gave me extra 45 minutes! You can feel she is an experienced belly dance teacher once you start to dance with her. I would like to highly recommend her to anyone who want to learn belly dance.

Perfect! Anne is an excellent bellydancer with loverly personality while also very professional. Due to some technique problems, we couldn't use video call properly and tried to fix it which took almost half hour. She just gave me extra 45 minutes! You can feel she is an experienced belly dance teacher once you start to dance with her. I would like to highly recommend her to anyone who want to learn belly dance.

My belly dance classes are £10 for the group class or £20 for private lessons. All classes are via webcam on Zoom.
