About Jean
I am a teacher with many interests including dogs, penguins, music, reading, and geography/religious studies. I teach adults and tutor children and adults from around the world! My students tell me that I am funny and make learning interesting! My goal is to help students who can't speak or understand English, and I understand how painful it is to not be comfortable with using English. I am consistently in the top 3% of my school's teachers who show measured learning gains, so I know that my methods are reliable.
I will also tutor any student who needs help with Language Arts or Social Studies comprehension.

I provide engaging lessons that help to show the foundation of English - then, I add grammar, speaking and listening practice as we go!
