About Laura
Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry / molecular and cellular biology (mention Assez Bien), and a Research Master's degree in integrated molecular and cellular biology, specialty Genetics (mention Bien) from the University of Strasbourg, I offer my services for online refresher and support courses in Maths, Physics-Chemistry and SVT / Biology (more specifically in cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, cell physiology and genetics). I offer courses for students from college to Terminale, or even post-bac for Biology / Biochemistry / Cellular physiology / Genetics (students in Psychology or Biology Degree, BTS students ...). I have several years' experience in tutoring, having started to provide support from my first year of Biology License, in parallel with my studies. Teaching is really a passion: I like to pass on the knowledge that I was able to acquire during my studies, and ESPECIALLY, help students in difficulty, demotivated. Seeing them progress, improve, gain confidence, is what is most rewarding for me. I have been fortunate to be able to support many students over the past few years, in particular students in dietetics BTS (1st and 2nd year), students in the first and second year of License in Psychology, Biology, as well as college students. and high school students of all levels, and all sectors.

My courses are aimed at students from College to Superior (L3 of Biology, Psychology, BTS ...). Depending on the student's profile, I adapt my working method (some students need more supervision, others being more autonomous, etc.). Given the current health context, the courses are preferably done online by video, via Skype, software that I have been using for several months already to give my courses. I rely exclusively on the lessons of my students, in particular their digital textbooks, in order to follow the program, and to meet the teacher's expectations (until Terminale). It also happens that I have recourse to other resources if information is missing, in particular I can provide my university courses, to explain certain concepts to my higher education students (BTS, License). In Mathematics and Physics, the emphasis is on solving exercises, which is the largest part of a lesson (homework is given between each lesson). In SVT, Biology, etc., the emphasis is on learning and understanding the course, sometimes dense, with also exercises (document analysis, restitution of knowledge). Preparation of exam papers with correction, explanation of tutorial exercises for students of the Superior.
