About Shenaly

I am a Finance undergraduate at Deakin University, Australia, currently in my second year, after completing a Diploma of Business at UTS, Sri Lanka. I completed A-Levels in Further Mathematics, developing a strong passion for mathematics, and also completed Trinity College London Speech and Drama exams (Grades 3–6), which strengthened my analytical, communication, and English skills.
With 3 years of online tutoring experience, I support students aged 5–18 in English and Mathematics, focusing on building strong foundations, confidence, and understanding through clear explanations and guided practice. Lessons are delivered with patience, encouragement, and adaptability, creating a positive and supportive environment where students can progress at their own pace.
Available online or in person within 45 minutes of Burwood, Victoria.

About the lesson

Lessons focus on helping students clearly understand concepts in English and Mathematics while building confidence in their abilities. Teaching is tailored to each student’s learning style using simple explanations, step-by-step problem solving, and practice questions. Lessons can include homework support, concept revision, and exam preparation depending on the student’s needs.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, allowing time to review previous work, learn new material, and practise together. For younger students, engaging activities are used to maintain focus and make learning enjoyable.
Experience includes 3 years of online tutoring, teaching students aged 5–18 across primary and secondary school levels. Lessons are available online and in person within 45 minutes of Burwood, Victoria.
